Shake Your Groove Thing ...

When my daughter was three-years-old she used to mimic everything she saw.
I used to watch music videos on T.V. and my daughter came into the room where I was and sat down next to me. She was very smart for just being only three. She asked me, "Mommy, why are those women dancing like that?" "To relieve stress baby," was my reply, she said, "Oh, okay... " So she just kept on watching the music videos with me. The videos weren't unfavorable or anything, they were just regular music videos. So on her fourth birthday, which was only two days later, we had the whole family over plus a few of her friends. With everyone there, my daughter comes out her her bedroom, where she had been playing with her friends, and starts dancing ... but dancing just like the women in the video!  Moving her hips from side to side and going on the floor and everything!  I said, "Baby, what are you doing?" She quickly said, "I'm dancing.  I'm just stressed out ... Gaby is in my room and she's trying to mess up my Barbies.   It helped the women in the music videos, maybe it will help me!"
