My nephew was about two-years-old and just learning to talk and label things. That is, he was learning the names of new things in his little world and how to label these newly discovered daily experiences. One day while camping with his family he was playing in a nearby stream with some action figures as his parents watched him. He was making the action figures talk and having a great time. His father was very amused by his son's play but could not contain his laughter at this next event; As my nephew passed gas (quite loudly!) he continued playing with his action figures and told them, "Oh! My butt is talking to me!," not knowing what else to call this new experience!
