My son stumbled upon a box of maxi-pads in my bathroom closet. Asking what they are were, I was stumped for a proper answer. I eventually told him that they are napkins used for a very special occasion. Fast forward about four months. We are having a dinner party, at our home, for my husband’s boss and his wife. As we all walk into the dining room I, as well as everyone else, are all staring at maxi-pads sitting at each place setting! My son knew it was a special occasion with special guests. I never recovered from the embarrassment ALL evening long.
