My oldest son, five-years-old, was so excited to visit Santa this year. So at the shopping mall, my husband, two boys, and I, all waited in line to get a photo of both boys with jolly St. Nick. When it was our turn I set my five-year-old son on Santa’s lap and he politely told Santa what he wanted for Christmas. When he finished with “his list” Santa handed him a candy cane but my son immediately handed it back to him. Then my son honestly declared, “Your breath stinks, you should eat this.” As I gasped, in embarrassment, my son says, with much inflection, " What Mom? It does stink, it really, really does!" The man taking the pictures almost fell over from laughing so hard; the line full of kids and parents were all laughing and snickering too. Please don’t hold this against us Santa!

You have to hand it to the little ones - they are too honest. Did Santa still leave him something under the tree after that remark ? :)
